Almost Big Enough

Got the “Rainbow Sherbet” quilt top put together last night.  It’s almost big enough for our queen bed – but there’s no drop on the sides.

That, and it clashes horribly with the wall color (“Brazil Nut”).

I think Jody and I are running along at the same pace with the matchy quilts – she’s at the “need to quilt it” stage too!  UPDATE: Jody outdid me – she wins the cute prize, she set her kid on her quilt – I can’t compete with that!  LOL!

I’m holding out to see if I’ve won the free longarm quilting Dana is giving away this week.  Otherwise, I think I will attempt to tackle this beast myself.  I haven’t actually measured, but I think it’s somewhere around 70″ x 80″.  I’m definitely done dealing with this monster until the weekend, at least!
