I’ve been hemming & hawing about how to spend the Whipstitch Groupon I purchased back in February.
I knew I probably should be practical & spend it on more Parisville to make some pillowcases to go with Karissa’s wedding quilt. But that would only use up about half of the groupon amount.
So I waited…surely AMH was going to unleash another round of her awesomeness on us crafty folk, right? Whipstitch loves AMH, so I figured I would wait & see.
And LouLouThi doesn’t disappoint, there are some awesome prints in the collection, in a variety of pattern scales and colors.
But I was still confused – what prints to buy? How much? That large-scale Summer Totem print has been on my mind, but how to use it? Well, this quilt pretty much sealed the deal for me: a large strip down the center of a quilt is a perfect way to showcase that particular print. But not with that much white, the fur children leave too much of themselves behind.
Anyway, this is what I finally settled on for my Whipstitch order:
Don’t those prints look so happy (and summery) together? LouLouThi, Parisville, and that orange Innocent Crush print thrown in for good measure. And even though they won’t end up in the same project, that will be a pretty pack of fabric to open up.

Great choice, Michelle. I love the quilt you linked to..can’t wait to see what you make.
Pretty. I love that top left Loulouthi print, it has a touch of Scandinavian design + AMH. I can’t wait to see what you do with these fabrics!
Somehow that tricky AMH always coincides releasing new fabric with my birthday. So I, of course, seized the opportunity to order the fat quarter set of all of the prints. But now the dilemma is: what to make? (Obviously a quilt, but what pattern?)
