ACK! Totally late in annoucning a winner…  Ok, y’all…320 comments is a bit ridiculous, but I can’t really blame you, those are awesome fabrics, if I do say so myself. 

We were busy all weekend, Steve was painting and I was pretending to be June Cleaver…you know, baking apple pies, laundry, dishes, etc.  No new pictures, mostly because I’ve forgotten to take any!

Alas, Steve was not able to get thru all of the comments, so I’m gonna have random.org pick winners- I’m sure all of you with horror stories will understand that he just wasn’t able to pick one out of all the horribleness you wrote about, as it is!

The winning comment belongs to #167 Anne (no blog) who said “Oh, gosh. My ceiling fell down–which turned into an opportunity to put in a ceiling fan and light. My Dad totally gashed open his hand putting it up. And one time dear Dad bought the wrong plumbing pipe and I had no water. Dad’s been trying to keep his barn from falling down for years. It all gets fixed eventually!”

The 2nd winner (smaller package) is #71 Karen (also no blog) who said “Bless your heart, we’ve been there with those types of home “improvements” too. Our current house had 3 layers of contact paper in the kitchen and it was so old that it came off in teeny tiny pieces. Took forever to remove and clean….  This was after we had to remove home canned food with jar lids rusted completely through with truly scary looking “stuff” inside!!!”
