Michelle and I are doing a private owl 9-patch block exchange…and we’re both taking our sweet ol’ time with it (or maybe it’s just me). But I’m getting there, and may be done this week, but I think work will get in the way (in fact, I’m blogging 3 posts on Sunday night, and letting them publish sporadically this week).
I’m making a double set, so that I can have some as well. I’m still planning to have my AQB2 buddies do the scrappy owl blocks for me, and will use the 9-patches somehow as setting blocks or something.
Apparently, I really like polka dots – I just noticed that 6 of the 12 blocks use polkas as contrast! And the KRJ brown flowers and the alphabet sort of look dottish when they’re all mixed in like that!
Ack! I love them! And it looks like we’ll be having different owls – Hooray! And yes, I am also taking my sweet time with them. But now, I’m inspired! I’ll get working on them.
