Remember this random (but awesome, in my humble opinion) purple star block I mentioned here? Here’s where happened to the block I sent… I loved being able to give back a tiny bit to say thanks to someone who so faithfully worked on quilt blocks for us for so many months! Such a [...] It’s official! I’m now on my self-imposed, 6-month minimum hiatus from sewing for people I don’t know (aka, no bees or swaps). And I gotta say, it already feels good. Maybe just because I don’t have any energy for sewing right now?? Anywho, I finished up my 4×5 bee blocks, and mailed them out, [...] Jessica of Twin Fibers was one of the girlies in the Pieced Together Quilting Bee that I participated in, and I made this block for her. That wonky star shadow block is one of my more favorite blocks I’ve made, probably just because of the fabrics! So it was nice to see Jessica’s [...] Minimal amount of time spent in my girl cave thus far in November… between vacation (more on DC/NYC as soon as I dump photos from Steve’s camera), Jöelle’s baby shower, and being gone over Thanksgiving weekend, this past weekend was really my only chance to catch up on my bee blocks.
