We are exactly 3 months away from Kit’s estimated arrival! (aka, it’s getting’ real) Apparently baby bumps elicit all sorts of random comments from total strangers. I didn’t really appreciate this phenom until about a month ago. I inevitably am asked what the baby’s sex is, and can pretty effectively kill the conversation with [...] Turning 30 wasn’t as exciting as my bloggy absence would you leave you to believe; we had dinner with a few good friends, and that was the extent of the celebration. But the Fox house has been busy! Last week, we had our floating stairs replaced. We now have completely enclosed stairs, with a [...] Steve and I are both blogging on Kit’s blog. He did all of the initial setup, the stuff you can’t actually see. I did a lot of the initial design setup (template, header, colors). And now we’re sharing the writing space. Because it is shared space, he’s interested in what I’m drafting up – [...] Perhaps I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m not terribly helpful with home improvement projects. I don’t tend to have the patience necessary to meet Steve’s standards. All of this is fine, we’ve both accepted this fact and I will help when necessary. But I have to admit that I feel a little less guilty [...] So… Sylvester is our dirty cat. He’s not so good with the personal hygiene…or the litter box hygiene. Thankfully, his brother Radar takes care of him (with the exception of the first week we lived in our house, which Radar spent cowering in fear until he figured out this was his new home). Hello, cute coordinated napkin rings! And hello, new awesome placemats from Jessie in the UHG swap! I had this brilliant idea on Wednesday to invite my girls Joelle & Shannon over for a sew-a-thon this weekend, with the plan to let them raid my fabric and make the Cosmo bag from AB’s Style Stitches (the Cosmo is the cover girl, BTW). That way, [...] Darci & Erin invited me to participate in the Spicing Up the Kitchen swap they’re hosting, and it has come up at the perfect time! Our kitchen/dining area was the first to receive substantial attention when we bought our place a year ago, but has been stagnant the last few months. However, we just finished remodeling [...] I think I missed the Spring 2010 Bloggers’ Quilt Festival because I didn’t have anything new to show… but not this time around!
