Figures that I got a little sew-jo back right before I’m going to have to pack up my machine for a few weeks. But at least I got my VQB blocks done that I have fabric for…
Anyway, because I’m psychotic, I joined another quilting bee with Mary from AQB2 – this group is [...]
Last Saturday, I went to the long-arm quilters to finish Rainbow Sherbet (blogged here and here)…and by the end of the day, I was still surprisingly calm. Surprising because of all the things that went wrong:
2 Quilters scheduled to rent the same machine at the same time… I was on the [...]
I felt compelled to do something with the selvages from my Orange Sherbet quilt this weekend. Mostly because I had 5 bobbins loaded with thread before I got too intimidated to quilt it myself.
So what’s a girl to do?
Use one of the fun stitches on her machine and power sew!

I’m almost done with Week 4, assembling the quilt top. Above are 6 strips hanging over a door, [...]
The copious quantities of blog posting over the past several days continue… I should probably set these to post sporadically throughout the week, but I’m an instant gratification kind of girl.
I received my Coaster Swap package today from Lori, and it’s absolutely perfect!
I’m definitely not shy in my love of all [...]
When Tracey posted about wanting some motivation to create things for herself, I had to agree. While I love the VQBs and swaps I’m participating in, projects for me can be pushed to the side.
So I signed up for the Because I Matter Challenge, and will submit my progress at the end of [...]
One of the most aggravating things is when I rely upon information, get my hopes up, then smashed back down to the ground. Maybe I’m too trusting? But if you make an offer to someone, you should think VERY carefully before you do…don’t change your mind later. I would much rather have you give [...]
