I’ve often wondered about this photo – apparently I used to like to pretend to iron. And I like to wear a plastic apron. Maybe this was a prediction of my current crafty state? I’ve also wondering what’s up with my right hand… You know only a child of the 80s would be [...] So here is a picture of my new Canon Xsi camera with a very old lens attached… That black patch on the bag is the most serious velcro known to mankind. I will know if someone is trying to steal my camera, because of the sound that velcro makes when the flap is [...] The photos are totally random, but I wanted y’all to have something pretty to look at – more pictures from the Getty Museum. So here’s the gist of LASIK… After some Xanax and some crazy eye numbing drops, I was under the first laser which cut the flap on each cornea. I then sat there [...] I took more pictures over the weekend… this time, went up to the Getty Museum, and dragged Jason & Christina along to keep me company (Steve was camping in Sequoia with my photo guru Scott, who has some AMAZING photos). The Getty does fun things on Saturday night – stays open late, plays great [...] Our fun camping weekend was cut short early Sunday morning – like 12:15am early. We were awoken by the campground host, informing us of a fire in neighboring canyon and that we should evacuate. From the little bit of info available on the interwebs, it seems as if the fire was across the [...] Saturday was a complete lazy day, I gotta admit. Which is fine, I had a long week. I am now the queen of 1099 forms…or at least I was for 127 of them this week. What a pain! Coupled with a lot of month-end & year-end reporting we were wrapping up from December, I [...] I am always on the lookout for places that have REAL photobooths, not those stupid pretend photobooths that give you an inkjet printout on computer paper. I found one on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls in 2006 (which wasn’t very good)…and then was able to take this one last summer @ the Orange [...] This is going to be my new project.
