Turning 30 wasn’t as exciting as my bloggy absence would you leave you to believe; we had dinner with a few good friends, and that was the extent of the celebration. But the Fox house has been busy! It’s always interesting to meet someone you only know through blogs and emails, but she’s a complete sweetie! The show was sort of interesting – a lot of quilts that aren’t really my style, but no matter what fabrics and [...] My newest BFF Jacqueline came to visit late Saturday night. She wasn’t my BFF on Saturday night…but Sunday morning, she was all about being my BFF. I was greeted heartily in the morning: “Michelle!” And then she points to the non-scaredy cat Sylvester: “Tat” (and also “Titty” – which makes me giggle). So where [...] No, not what you think. Yesterday was not only my friend Miranda’s birthday (and also her twin sis Monica), but my friend Christina’s birthday (Christina of the Jason & Christina wedding guestbook quilt). Christina wanted to go to Disneyland for her birthday, so Steve & I were happy to accompany her & Jason as [...] I should have known that something wacky would happen after I pontificated about the virtues of Disneyland… On Wednesday, we went to Disneyland, as it was Kristina’s boyfriend Calvin’s birthday, so he could get in free. I think that the birthday promotion thing is doing great things for boosting park attendance…which is sort of bad, [...] Saturday was a complete lazy day, I gotta admit. Which is fine, I had a long week. I am now the queen of 1099 forms…or at least I was for 127 of them this week. What a pain! Coupled with a lot of month-end & year-end reporting we were wrapping up from December, I [...] This is going to be my new project. And based on my past Mouse Adventure experiences, I bet I can compile photos from Disneyland to complete the whole calendar.
